Handley Gets Six Months

Chris Handley was sentenced today after many months of delays after pleading guilty to the possession of obscene artwork from Japan. I call it "artwork" as no actual children were actually harmed, photographed or depicted in the material Handley was arrested and convicted for.

If the intention of child pornography and obscenity laws is to protect children, then I ask, again, who was the victim in the Chris Handley case? There is none. So this man will spend a half a year in jail for ordering books he never even had a chance to read.
