Special guest, Dark Horse editor, and J-media encyclopedia, Carl Horn hosted a get-together in at the convention hotel. Guests at the small gathering included Robotech creative director and comic illustrator and writer Tommy Yune. It was also a pleasure to speak with Richard Epcar and his wife Ellyn Stern. Richard and his wife are both voice actors and some great stories that could only have come from Hollywood. Richard has worked many anime projects, from GitS and Robotech to Bleach and Digimon. Several Dark Horse staffers attended, including prolific editor extraordinaire Philip Simon (Blood+ manga, MPD Psycho, Translucent)
